Is anyone making a carbon fiber pipe for helis yet ? I see that they are making them for nitro cars and trucks ,like the revo .

The ones used in cars and planes used a header+pipe joined by a flexible coupler. Those types of pipes have a very narrow RPM range were they work.

Since we have so many variables on the helis, the header (length) has to be tuned to the engine, plug, rpm, head loading etc.

The only thing to be gained is a slight reduction in weight. It could be done, but not worth it. Too expensive too.
