Trex 250

I haven't owned a little guy like this in a few years but this one is actually a LOT of fun to fly...

I like the fact that it is so tiny you can fly it indoors

My basement is pretty small but it's big enough to do some flying with this thing

My dogs hate it though

Anthony is that a stock paint job on your 250? Say it is not so!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

hi

Hows the tail holding? Hows the gyro holding? Im surprised you didnt toss it in the trash yet.

If you are having ABSOBUTELY no Gyro/stock tail issues then let us all know your secrets.

Outside flight today

Well....I got a chance to fly this little guy outside today...

WOW...she's fast for sure...

I have had ZERO issues with the tail ....Piro flips, inverted flight, flips, rolls, etc...the tail seemed to hold just fine for me?

I am running the stock gyro and servo also....I just cut the "fat" tail blades down to 30mm and raised my gain to 34% and she's flying great...

BTW...I am running the 15t pinion with a 100% flat throttle curve....going to a 100% flat curve seemed to smooth out the tail quite a bit also...otherwise the headspeed changed too much and caused the tail to feel a bit loose...

I agree, 100% straight across is the way to get the tail to hold.

60% of the time, it works every time!

the scorpion motor with the carbons is a nice little setup. i'm running mine at 15t (which is roughly the same headspeed as 16t on the stock motor). but, the scorpion has that extra little bit of pop at the end to make it fly a little more like a hopped up 450.

i'm liking this thing a lot. (and, the silver lightning bolt canopy looks really nice on this thing).

if it ain't broke, break it.

Cuda, what is the model number of scorpion you are using on your 250?
