Hi All

I have 3 lipos, all different ages makes and capacities, my head speed has dropped dramatically in the last month and it doesnt matter what battery is on the heli.. I have changed the esc and I want to test the Lipo before buying new ones or a new motor (Trex 600)...What I am wanting to know, other than an on board meter, can I bench discharge a lipo and see how many amps it can sustain..

Get a Medusa Oracle or EagleTree datarecorder and look for Voltage under load when you fly, thats what affects your headspeed.

"bench-testing" for high currents is very expensive (thousands of dollars for the equipment since you need CBAII + 2 x 10X amplifier and that will only take you to 1000watts)
