All of those brands appear difficult to find in NZ, so I'll probably have to import something. I'm still confused by the Kasama - for the Raptor there are two different ones it seems, one requires a main shaft mod?

Most of the retailers here have a brand called "JYM" and it's only available in Hot Pink... wtf?

http://www.rcmarket.co.nz/product_i...roducts_id=1283

I can't find anything about this brand on the 'net.

What's the consensus on the QuickUK brand? Is it a case of looks above performance? It's appears priced higher than most.

What I think I'm looking for is something to replace my existing plastic hub and wash-out, that will last me a while as I get into more interesting sorts of flying. At the moment I'm really just flying fast circuits and loops - but I'd like to do some basic 3D and beyond when I feel ready. I'd rather not buy "budget" but I also don't want to pay exponentially higher prices for the "top end"...

The Mavrikk and stock TT parts sound fine but I can't even find a local retailer with them - time to hit the Hong Kong / Taiwan websites I guess.

EDIT: "JYM" not "JVM"

Just get a Mavrikk or TT head block and washout base and be done with it.

That's what I'm thinking - now I just have to find somewhere that sells them

Which of these is the "stock" metal head on the V2?

http://www.helikraft.com/Thunder+Ti...b+(PV0338).html
http://www.helikraft.com/Thunder+Ti...b+(PV0484).html

And this should be fine on the Titan right?
http://www.helikraft.com/Thunder+Ti...y+(PV0445).html

However, this particular place is completely out of stock on all three of those parts. Instead they have these in stock:

http://www.helikraft.com/Quick+UK/T...02V2+(Red).html

I assume these are QuickUK parts. No sign of Mavrikk here though.

There is no "stock" metal head on the V2 but either of the first two will work, one has the built in head button.

The middle one will work on a titan.

The last two are made by quick uk and they will also work on a Titan

Ok, those red QuickUK parts are the only ones I can find in stock "locally" (well, Taiwan at least) - can anyone suggest alternative Online shops in the South-East Asian / Pacific area that might stock Mavrikk parts? I believe in this part of the World they are sometimes called "GCT" instead...

I'm specifically excluding Australia or USA at the moment because of the currently terrible exchange rate.

Well, I'm having a lot of trouble sourcing Mavrikk or TT parts for much less than the cost of the Kasama parts, so it might make sense to just get those instead.

What are these for? If I were to buy the full Kasama set *minus* the blade grips (works out cheaper) then would I need a set of these?
http://grandrc.com/inc/sdetail/59288

And if I buy the Kasama parts individually (rather than the combo), do I get all the fasteners I need included?

So the stock flybar control arms work fine?

I'd probably get the washout too, I think.

The G-Force Tuner head and bellcranks work well too. I have them on my R90 and I have them for R50 as well. I love them.

Mavvrikk is also referred to as "Hobby Taiwan" or "HT" in other parts of the world.
