I agree with Pulento. I am also getting stepping on my 8717s on the new 2.20 firmware. To be honest i didn't no tie the difference between 1.04 and 1.10 in this regard.

Where did you get 2.20? Or is that a typo?

The "stepping" is not a resolution issue, it's an aliasing issue that results from converting the 45 Hz inputs from the receiver, to 125 Hz outputs. While waiting for the next input, the SK360 projects ahead (guesses) what the collective should be for the motion to be smooth. That's never exactly right, so on high-end servos it shows up as slightly rough motion. The heli won't notice this in flight.

It could be eliminated by lagging collective by one frame (22ms), but that actually would result in a slight performance compromise, even though it'd look better on the bench. If there turns out to be be a better way to do this however, it'll be in the next update.

Indeed I was looking at VBar wiki and the VBar also has a "smooth" filter recommended for digital servos.

I've been tunning my SK360 and now it flies really nice just a hair to get piros and specialy get the collective throws as I like but is a bit more complicated since I cannot set the mix at the radio.

It is possible to leave the pitch mix a bit longer and then use ATVs on the radio to get the feeling right while flying and then set on the bench the correct mix that maximizes the throw without loosing resolution ?

A friend gave them to me - i think they are designed for cars actually. You can find them around a few places. They are really good for direct linkages becuase you need to be very precise with blade tracking.
