I agree with Ba board. I have noticed it more in the summer. I keep my transmitter in a dry garage which gets very warm in the summer so I'm not taking the transmitter from a cool environment to a hot one

Despite being wrong at least horizon posted an answer.
Mc gregor on the other hand has posted nothing to keep it's customers informed. There is one notice that modtron posted but I suspect that was probably for trade use only as there is no other trace of it online

Surely it should be the users who should be getting frustrated

You are correct there was a news letter to dealers only, but that was to try and blame the end users for the problem and also to try and sell a bag to put the tx in when not in use

why is slartybartfast getting frustraited? unless of course you have a more direct conection with Mc greggor than you make out to have?
infact it seems that 99.99% of your post involve mc greggor/jr or there products!!!!!!!

Why has has Slartybartfast gone quiet LOL i know why
Maybe if you came out with the truth for once.
Stop beating around the bush, Who do you work for ?
We are good, honest, and hard working people and all we want is answers to our problem.
The quicker someone comes up with a solution the sooner we can all get back to some good old fashioned helicopter fun including the use of JR goods.

well looks like we wont get an answer untill next year. but then i doubt if we will ever get any answers,
this is the worst case of customer service i have ever witnessed
i was thinking of a dx12 but then given the service with the dx9 ill go with the 14mz and safe a couple hundred quid in the process
happy new year

Really? The 14MZ is cheaper? Of course the price of the receivers will kill you, but it is interesting that the TX is cheaper.

of course you need to buy the 2.4ghz module but then it works out the same. let me see extra chanels, colour screen, you can set your own sounds up for the switch activation from anything from a beep to "idel up" plug your head phones in and listen to music while flying and lets not forget ripmax the uk importer/supplier there customer service was brilliant when i complained about the non evident fault on the 7ch module. (i got an 8ch module as a replacement)
oh and receivers wouldnt cost that much seen as all my helis are on fasst anyway

Just got the lates edition of MHW which contains a quite detailed description of the DSX9. According to the specs it's got all sorts of functions and gizmos but despite my hardest I can't find any mention of the one free addition that comes with the set......condensation

i have to say when i read that arcticle i thought of the trouble you guys had experienced..

i expected to see a little disclaimer or at least an acknowledgement to the issues as you guys have been put out of pocket..

Keep up the pressure!

yesterday was too windy to fly

if only i had a dx9 i would have the perfect tx to Not fly with

come on mc gregs its only another 11 months and it will be christmas again
