Well after flying my first L700 for a while i have decided i really like the handling of it and power, so i'm making my 600 into a 700 also!
Will be interesting to compare the 560KV motor to the 630KV motor, headspeed should be 100RPM less.
I think my 630KV motor with 15T and outrage packs is about 2200RPM with 690MM, the 560KV motor with 16T should be about 2100RPM.

Both my 700s I am running the 4035-560kv motors with 17 tooth while goverened at 78%, its about perfect HS imho for running 690s. With 710s the 16 tooth is more suited for sure. 15 may be to low imho, but depending on what you are looking for in performance, I like my 700s to rock out like my 600s myself.

One thing about a stretched 600 ie: "700" as we folk call it, they really get peeps attention. After you get some pilots flying their 700N Align helis etc, then you toss up a Logo 700, usually you see big goldfish eyes all around you after landing, the heli really rips and has a ton of presence in the air!

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I actually flew my 700 today 2 packs, after not flying for 2 weeks it was kinda scary LOL, i really need to join a field i think (been flying in the back yard on a few acres). This thing rips through the sky very fast, run out of space pretty quick!

I have just finished stretching my spare 500. It's now swinging Torsion 710'a at 170g and 105 tails. I have only had chance to do a quick hop and man this thing is responsive.

All up weight of mine ready to go is 4.1kg but that includes a reg/battery and sprayed canopy and prob a longer boom as using 788xl belt.

It looks great best looking out there in my opinion.

And don't worry it has the Logo 600 head on but working on a metal upgrade so more to come on that when it is finished.

Scorpion 4035/560 15T and counter bearing.

Is there any news if there will be a proper release from mikado with a 700?

I think my next project will be a 700 size electric.

No 700 from Mikado, to stretch it is simple and under 100 bucks for boom, belt, rod....

It's also worth upgrading the blade bolts. Stock bolts tend to bend under the additional blade weight.

True Griffo, do note however the newest kits out have a shanked hardened main blade grip bolt set

Also worth changing the tail grips for something more substantial. I use the Kasama Raptor hub and grips, now that's one less thing for me to worry about. My other concern are the main grips but I'm helping to come up for a solution to that as well :-)

Yep that's also a good idea but the stock grips hold up ok for those trying to save $. I use the Quick UK tail. Works a treat and I can increase gain by 10%.

So does mikado make the proper booms and belt for the conversion?
If so what part numbers.

Just trying to get a parts list together of what people are using.
