I bought a pair of .30 size heli-max floats for my Belt Cp, not knowing they were way too big. I'm thinking about mickey mousing em' and making them work but not sure of the ramifications. Anybody with some experience want to clue me in as to whether or not this will work? Thanks guys.

What goes up must come down...and when it does it'll probably be expensive.

You could fill them with helium.

Seriously, Could you put Zip ties or something, on them to "contain" the size?

helium
Might be enough to balance out the weight of the large floats...

It sounds like your going to have a mess before this is all said and done. These helis don't have the reserve power to be hauling around extra weight. Save the floats for your 30 size heli.... IMHO

Buy a "pool noodle" and cut 2 floats to the size that allows the heli to float with only 1 noodle still attached. You may need to insert a dowel into the middle to keep the noodle from bending too much.

I did this on a slightly smaller heli (see my gallery) with great results -- haven't got around to doing it on my Belt CP yet.

Happy Flying!
