Anyone paying attention to the 50 size plastic heli kit prices these days? Holy Cow! At A Main Hobbies The Pantera is $259 , the Caliber 5 is $230! The Caliber 6 is down to $334 already. At Heliproz the Hirobo Evo 50 is $250! Its a great time as a flyer of these helis if you are in the market to add to your fleet.

Price has dropped on not just plastic helis these days. Some online stores have knocked around $200 off the price of the T-rex 700, Synergy N9, etc. But, as we all know the real cost is in the outfitting of a new heli.

Smart move on the part of shop owners. Get someone in the "door" with a no profit or even loss price on the heli and make money on the accessories.

I dont know about "smart" so much as "necessary" to at least try to move some product. I dont think there is enough volume for shops to sell kits at a loss and try to make it up on the other stuff. The Internet makes that unlikely. Too easy for people to price shop. None the less, I cant get over how prices are dropping.

Correct no main blades. Tail blades are included, along with a 50 motor mount.

JB figures why charge for a set of blades that most people will not use anyways.

I'm thinking of getting one just as a spare parts bird. After all I have Three Panteras flying now.... and a Tiger MKII night ship.
With the price of Nitro the EVO90 is parked in the hanger.

My name is Billm. Cough, and I'm a Heli Holic
