Hello
I am pretty new to RC heli's and would like opinion from you guys that are way way past me on heli knowledge & expertise. I am real interested in getting a Gaui 200. I have read lots of posts in here about Flying-Hobby.com and that they are pretty reliable.... ?? I think; some communication problems if order gets screwed up but in all gets pretty good positives from most of yall. So anyway, this sure seems like a real good deal for the V2 - $299 for the complete combo ---->

Combo Included:

1. EP200SEV2 CNC Kit
2. Gaui Brushless Motor KV4800
3. Speed Control GAUI 18A Light ESC
4. Gaui Head Lock Gyro GU210
5. Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servo
6. Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servo
7. Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servo
8. Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servo
9. APLUS AP850 mAh LiPo Battery 7.4v(Can Use For 3D )
10.APLUS AP850 mAh LiPo Battery 7.4v(Can Use For 3D )
11.English Manual
Combo Price : USD$299

So here is my main question. Are these Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servos OK for basic flying? I have gotten good enough to fly all around - fig 8's, nose in etc - dont have to think a lot to make it go where I want it to now-a-days. Have not gotten the nerve to even roll it much less go inverted. Gettin there on the sim but still chicken so far. OK, all this flyin up to now is on CP Pro and Trex 450. Bottomline at my current skill level, will I be happy with the Maxwell-MDS60HB Digital Servos and the Gaui Head Lock Gyro GU210? Or do yall think I need to spring for the HS 45's and 2100 + 3100 gyro + servo or something close to that? Sure adds a lot to the price when I go to buying these as separate parts and pieces. Thanks so much guys for your thoughts and suggestions.

they are better and stronger and faster than HS-45s these are mini servos not micros like the HS45

the V2 uses minis.

Fung rocks.. flying hobby is great.
and that deal is every bit as good as the Trex250 deal.

Thanks very much USNAviationjay - this is very encouraging.
Oh, one more quick question for the group. Do any of you know if the missing canopy issue is resolved? When I order, will I get the correct stock canopy that comes with the V2 kit? Is the color/design random as to what you get? Thanks again.

I just picked up the same combo except the pro version with the Futaba 401 gyro.
Should be here Tuesday or so. I am also concerned about the servos. I have heard they are not real smooth????
I am going to try them (even on the tail)

thanks kevntri; I will be interested in what you discover. there seems to be little discussion on performance of these combos in here. Lots about dealing with the company and positive on the service/shipping but I think several folks might be interested in just what you end up with for your $299; if it performs even decent, sure sounds attractive to me. thanks Man. I only need decent - I am a Newbie... no 3D yet...

I'm getting the belt version with MX306BB.

They've worked OK for a year for the seller but...

I'm thinking of these as a replacement.

I'm not sold on the 3153's as I've never tried them.

I just don't see why everyone is enthused about HS45's.

.14 sec is slow on a small heli.

The 3153's should work great, they are just so damn expensive.

youd be better using hyperions all around if you gonna spend the money on 3153's.
