Has anyone tried changing the connector on the Align governor sensor (the one that comes with 700Ns) to see if it might be electrically compatible with the TJPro (and Spektrum and many others)?

It would be cool if I could make up an easy wire adapter to use the Align sensor with my AR7100R. I'm currently using a TJPro sensor with my AR7100R on a different heli. It works great.

(I'm sticking with magnet sensors on my AR7100Rs until the backplate sensor bracket gets redesigned to be more durable. That squirt gun plastic is worthless to me.)

Ok. I just got through with trying that. I tried the sensor in six different connector/wire configurations.

No dice.

I suppose one of the configurations I tried might have fried the sensor. So I'm not likely to try it again until somebody can say for sure which wire goes where.

it works great.
all you need to do is switch between the positive and negative (black and red wires).
white remains in it's place

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean W-B-R like this?

Or perhaps R-B-W?

It's funny how that's the configuration that I tried last. I must have fried the sensor trying the other configurations.

Thanks.

Yes. I even have some spare magnets and tried both sides. No luck.

Oh well, I have the parts to make a comparable sensor.

dont throw it away just yet..
you can get the sensors from digikey for a few cents.
use the original bracket as it has the holes drilled in place,
or keep it for later
