Does anyone know which polarity the male pin is ? I don't see it marked on the Tx itself, and no mention in the owners manual.

If you take the batt cover off and can see the jack it should have the wires color coded.

Good idea. I removed the back cover to find the charging port glued directly to the pcb. No wires, only one solder joint visible. I'm no electrician so I'm reluctant to start probing with a voltmeter... don't want to short anything.

do you have the charger that came with it, sometimes on the wall wart case it will have a diagram for polarity on the plug or plug it in and take a reading from the plug. It should Pos. center and Neg. outside. I think only JR has it the opposite way.

Funny you should ask about the wal wart charger. I didn't think it came with one, But now I'm looking at the stock charger for the Lipo flight pack. It's a table-top unit that is two-piece: the charging unit itself, and the transformer unit that plugs into 110v with a wal wart looking plug on the end which plugs into the charging unit. Incredible... could this also be intended for the Tx ???? There is absolutely no mention in the owners manual, but it looks like it would fit. Also, on the transformer end, it shows the male pin is + (positive) with 15v 1 Amp output. Cool.

Thanks.

quark TX

In case anyone else is curious, I'm charging my Quark Tx with a Futaba plug. No more removing the AA cells to charge them.
