Hi everybody, I would just like to know what pipe everybody is running on there TT53 and how they are finding there pipe selection?

PS Im actually running a TT50 pipe and it seams to be running a bit rough, just curiouse to see if this pipe could be causing this.

Cheers bboy

I've just started using the Thunder Tiger 'Smoothy' pipe they sell just for the TT53. So far really pleased, nice and quite and, well, like they claim smooth power delivery. I'm flying FAI style.

Mate of mine is trying the 3D version of the pipe with good results. This is giving good power at higher head speeds than my pipe.

I've been having success with the Hatori SAB50 pipe on my TT53. Had fun power all summer long.

I have been using the Curtis MP5 pipe. Great power and easy to tune... well sorta(once you figure out how the needles play together).

TT 53 Which Pipe

I use the Curtis MP5 SB as well on my TT 53 and find it extremely good and easy to tune with gobs of power. I have tried the Curtis MP5 but it is not as good on the TT 53. However I find the MP5 better on the OS 50 Hyper than the SB version.

Thanks everybody for your replys. Ive been thinking of the redline 3D pipe (black one). I was thinking if i get the pipe that was buit for the motor you HOPEFULLY cant go wrong. Would the pipe make a big diffrence on how smooth the engine runs or is it just more the power factor?

Please keep posting the combos though, would be of great advise
Cheers

I've used the following pipes on the redline (in order of power): Align, MP2, MP5,JK Hatori 50, Outrage, and TT black.

The thunder tiger black pipe by far out performs the rest.

Heads up, you will have a hard time getting the middle tuned. I stopped fighting it and run just a tad bit rich on the bottom so it doesn't run thru that lean spurt in the middle. But, I had previously been running the Align Pipe, and it wasn't any better in the middle. Good luck, I know you are going to like it.
