I just changed out all my servos and the receiver to the ones that came with the 2.4g 7C. My first problem is which channels do the servos plug into? Since I have two aileron servos and one elevator servo this is confusing since I have a 120 degree CCPM head. When I hook it up the best way I can figure it acts like a H-1 system with only one servo working at a time when working the ailerons even though I have it set on HR-3 which is what my head is. The manual talks about reversing the servos which I did but still only one runs although I can see the other one wiggle ever so slightly. Also am having problems with the rudder and gyro too although one problem at a time which is with the head for now.

Your input is appreciated very much.

Regards,
Dan

Never mind. I figured it out. One thing that I must ask is that Futaba claims to have support for various applications, where is it? I have been all over their web sites and have found very little.

it doesn't matter what you call what. One servo is ail, other elev and the third is pitch. You only need to find out which is which and it will work fine.

Tony, thanks for your in put. What was confusing me was the example given in the Futaba manual. The example given is 180 degrees oposite of mine so when it would say "Swash plate going up" mine was going down. Once I figured it out it went rather smoothly at least for the swash plate. Now the gyro and rudder are next to get straightened out. Any thoughts on that?

Dan

well nothing much about that. usually rudder is ch4 and gain is ch5. The tail servo connects to the gyro. Don't forget to watch rudder direction and gyro compensation direction (the way the gyro deflects the tail rotor when you give your heli a quick jerk clockwise or counterclockwise).

There are many types of Hr3... well actually 2... some have 2 servos in the front (like the vibe series) and some have the 2 servos in the back (like the 600N) you only need to plug them in and reverse the channels so that the stick movement matches with the swash movement. Sometimes everything seems fine but the swash travels the opposite way in collective, in that case you need to change the signal on the swash menu (+/-).

Usually the servo that stands alone is ele, right side (when viewed from above)is ail and the other one is pitch but sometimes its the other way around

On a hornet x3d it even gets worse as the swash goes up for negative pitch and down for positive
