Hi ,
it flies today , 3 flights

So , it's not like flybar yet , but it will be quickly with amelioration of setup.
I will give you the setup. We started with scale setup and changed a little it.

Bye.

Hey, congratulations. I have an optimized setup file for my smaller Trex450's if you'd like to see that. But it sounds like you're good now. The setup is super easy.

Nice. I got the same rotor head as yours as well. I'm using it in my HDX500SAS.

The head looks like a raging grass cutter

Very nice indeed.

If it is OK a few questions:

What head is it and where did you get it from?

Any plans to make it a scale ship?

Also what motor, pinion and packs do you use. Have you dropped the headspeed down?

Looks great, how does it fly compared to the normal head?

Best of luck and nice job.

Hi ,

Yes it 's a scaleflying head ,I use stock motor and electronic with 12 teeth pinion in 6 S. The head sepeed is lower flybar . In flight , idlup 1 is to 65 % throttle ( stock esc)..

I want to put it in AS-350 ecureuil from eurocopter.

For the flight , with the sk 360 , it 's the same thing like a flybar. So easy but it's the sk 360 's job.If you can fly with flybar it's ok for you.

Good flight

MD530 5 blade 500 size

Here is my current build. I set this up in about 1hr. The head, follower, and swash slid right on the stock shaft even though you get a shaft with the purchase of a 500 size head. I used t-rex 600 links for the upper linkages. Digital calipers on the linkages to make sure they were all the same length. No computer programming and no 3 axis gyro. I moved the follower as far as I could, but that was really the only adjustment I needed to make. I got lucky because the tracking was right on. I will now start to fit the mechanics into the fuselage.
Oh, bye the way, I am trying to get the factory to not produce the anodized blue for the 500 size rotor heads. This may take some time. I plan to paint over the blue!
