I am going to remodel and need new stainless steel appliances and did a search on the net for reviews of all of them and it turns out they all suck as far as the reviews go. I want the fridge with french doors and drawers on the bottom an electric range dishwasher and micro.I am leaning toward samsung, Anyone have any samsung appliances and how do you like them. It is hard to find any good input on the net and I want to get info from people who have them to help me decide, it is hard to decide when you are spending $4000 to $5000 dollars on appliances I just want something I am going to like and that will last.

Sorry to high jack your thread. Just have to vent.
BTW, Samsung phones S**k. Wife's phone just died.

After I got all Kitchenaid applanices, I was told Kitchenaid went down hill after Whirlpool took them over.

This is so true for the dishwasher. I have an old Kitchenaid diskwasher for about 12 years. Nothing was wrong with it.

For my new kitchen, the dishwasher's frame/tub was a little bent at the top looking at the door and did not close correctly. Test ran the machine and steam was coming out of the door seal on top.

The service repair guys are a BIG JOKE. Took over a 2 months, 3 service companies (1 company never showed up) totaling 5 service trips 3 repairmen before they got it right. The service company could not get me the tub in over 2 weeks, I had to call Kitchenaid to get the tub here in two days. To top it off, the replacement tub was damage in shipping. So they sent another one.

The service techs will BS you every thing is fine if it runs. He asked if their was water leaking out. No their was not. He also stated steam is to leak at all joins. (Hello the door has a gasket to keep water and steam in.) There is a opening for the steam to be release at the door.) I told the guy he was wrong and sent him packing.

After the tub was replaced, I call and bitch to Kitchenaid and they did extend the warranty the 2 months it was not in service.

Also they had to sent me 3 range hoods. First one was dented in shipping. 2nd one the buttons was pushed in and not align straight so refused delivery and gave him the damage one. Then they called and told me they are sending it UPS. (HAHAHA) Well it arrived OK

Hope my other applanices are OK.

Also even a Viking Stove has problems. I know someone had to have the regulator replaced on a brand new one. His stove cost almost as much as all my applanices. lol

It's all luck on what you get.

Just installed my new samsung appliances and they are nice. I got the 29 cu.ft. french door refrigerator with freezer drawer and that thing is huge inside. My old fridge was a 25 side by side and it looked full with the food we had and when we put it all in the new fridge it looked empty. So far I love them and they look awsome to. I just wanted to update incase there is any one else looking for appliances.

I have a new set of their top of the line steam washer and steam dryer. Very nice. They are super quiet, hardly any vibration plus they clean and dry the clothes very well without damaging the clothes like our old top load machines did.

Have not had them long so can't speak to their durability but from what I have read and talked to people about they should last quite a long time.

Hope this helps..
