dumb lipos!!! We should all just go back to NiCad! not nearly so cold sensitive...
or
I need to build a holder for 20 "D" alkaline for my e conversion. See if I can't get off the ground before the power runs out....

lipos don't hold their voltage very well in the cold. you might notice the battery loose power, speed control voltage protection pulsing your motor causing your tail to wag, collective doesn't feel so snappy like the motor bogs on climb out.
just keep it in your pocket so its stay warm, and take it out when you're ready to fly it.
make sure your keys don't short the battery plug.

other than that, the ball links get very stiff in the cold too. it will feel sluggish and spongy.
at my field, we have a wooden furnace. i sat my heli close to it to keep it warm. the heat relaxes the plastic ball links.
