When I watch this video on YouTube, it appears the governor on the CC HV85 is working great. Am I wrong? It is the exact same setup I have, with 8s 4270 EVO and Neu 1910 H/1Y:

MrMel,

I found the thread. Version 1.56 is what I currently have installed on the CC HV85 right now.

I will just give it a try, like you said, and see how I like it.

Thanks for your help,
Shane

If you are going to carry on using the CC be sure to bond the boom and frame+ motor mount with a small gauge wire, this will take care of any static issues you may have. These cc esc's are very susceptible to static.

The Jazz is back on and working wonderful!

It spools up much smoother than the CC. Also, it doesn't overshoot then slow down like the CC.

Thanks everyone.

If you need or want further on, you can add a heatsink to the Jazz, its quite easy, on the "non-label-side" of the jazz you can feel a big flat surface, use an exacto knife to open the heatshrink on that flat spot.

There you can use thermal paste (I mix with epoxy 50/50) to mount a heatsink (if you have an old used computer laying around, you probably have one in it)

That way the Jazz 55 can take alot more current going through it then the normal spec's

Just a FYI.
