Out of interest can you give it a weigh when complete with the all up weight?

Thanks Duke

Unfortunately I don't have a scale to weigh the heli.

I did get a chance to fly the heli today and the new packs seemed much stronger than my older packs. Here are some pictures of the heli. The first picture is a weird picture from my iPhone. I don't know what happened. The second picture is a close-up of my mod in action.

Interestingly enough, although I was using the same batteries FP Evo 3700 packs, the heli seemed to have a little more power with the CC110HV running the same throttle curves as the CC85HV. It may be in my head but the heli felt a little stronger with the CC110HV.

docjoe - looks good. I noticed big difference with new motor/esc. It has the punch the pervious motor/HV85 didn't.

duke666 - coming in at just over 11 lbs. w/ TP 5000/PowerJazz/HK4035-500/Helicommand 3A

Isn't it possible to put the motor-mount above the maingear, making it possible to place the motor as top-mounted (as you do in the helicrhis-frame)? I have looked at some pictures and it seems possible. Anyone tried it?

Edit: It seems the elevator-arm is in the way, if it is, is it possible to have the elevator-arm at the backside instead at the front-side?

Ok, sorry about asking, but exactly what problems can occur when doing this? The only problem I can see is that maybe the motor will interfere with links from the elevator servo, and maybe you have to get longer servo links than the stock ones.

I think the motors are too wide which means even if you flip tha 'A'arm around the pushrods to the front elev servo will get in the way...
