Congrats Butch! Really the best of the best! I have been fortunate to watch this build first hand, in person, from the beginning. Everything was done to perfection. This is a very proud day!

Very deserved Butch. Good to see a great guy and a great scale heli take the top award.

Your Super Cobra that is in my hangar just went up in value because the provinance is improved when one can say "handcrafted by the Winner of the first place Champion scale hardware at US Nats 2010".

Thanks guys.

The flights by each pilot were some of the best I have ever seen in the competitions I have entered. Weather conditions were perfect and allowed for some really smooth flights by all pilots.

Everyone one there was a winner in making the event what it became.

I got to meet some new friends and hang with some old ones.

It doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks and safe travels,

Thanks again Guys,

There is always room for improvement. After the judging was complete, some of the judges offered some constructive criticism which I took in with open ears. After all, this is how I learn.

My 76 shined this day, however it is still far from what it could be. Each project will become that much better, taking what is learned for these events.

The judges certainly had there work cut out for themselves with the models that attended.

A short vid from IRCHA.

After the competition we lost over half of our scale flying station. I hope flights will be posted of every pilots routine.

Note about 3 mins into the vid right after I put the gear down.

I am sure there will be vids form the pros up soon.

Nice vid!

**Rant on**

One thing that really pisses me off at fun flys is that the 3Drs (in general) have zero respect for your airspace.

I think because they can have a bird back in the air in a couple hours after a crash by just bolting on new parts, they just don't understand what goes into a scale ship.

**Rant off**

OK, back to our regularly scheduled videos of Butch's fantastic S-76!

I guess that explains why there were no long, high speed passes. That had to make you jump.

yeah, i made some passes with my hawk airwolf and 58D but they were in a "U" shape instead of the length of the flight area because i didint want to enter the restricted airspace on either side of me. its all good tho. the ec135 made two nice passes uninterrupted by any pod n boom machine

Joe did a nice job with the 135 that's for sure.

Rich (cgflyer) caught the fish-head moving my way so it was never really an issue. He and I were chatting, it would have been cool if he was up with his H-52 when that happened and hovered over and dropped the rescue basket for the save.
