ATV,
Elevator & Aileron Eccpm Swash Mixing,
Dual Rates,

because of Ball Placement on the Raven's Servo Arms the Leverage Rates are high so you wont be able to set all 3 to 100%,,

1) I set my ATV at 100% and never change it, never,,

2) then I set Elevator & Aileron Eccpm Swash Mixing to 100%,,

3) then I use Dual Rates to stop Swash Binding, and I also set both High and Low Dual Rates the same,,

I also tried setting my Dual Rates at 100% then use Swash Mixing to stop Swash Binding, I did not notice a diff in flight so I stuck with the above..

Oh those adjustment setting
Never had a problem before but if the NX system helps you

My ATV have always been set to 100% I then use the swash menu to set the max travel

OK so I'll say the NX has 2 things that are worth while the upper frame plates and the start system

I Like the Old Raven and hope they never discontinue it
But at the same time I would like to see something more progressive from Century

I have no info at this time. I know a change to the elevator and side plates was made to even the geometry and was shown at the demo booth but I have not been sent the parts

I think it runs a few months LOL

little forward tid bits on decals and manual and package bundle. Not firm so i will not post everything.

Decals I saw look very nice.

A new super strong main gear looks to be part of the changes that took the release date back. The gear is to withstand super hard 3D and the power of the next generation motors the NX will see.
Somthing the cary over gear could not do in some of the Super hard 3D tests the NX was put thru. The original NX set up was the original raven/falcon pinion/main. This was developed back when the 46OS was out and the original 50OS. The new motors are putting lots more power out and 3D introduces new loads for sure. The new combo has better surface area contact with a new pinion from reports from the company. I have not seen it myself yet. Good stuff !

Last official word is they are close to a official release date though.

When I hear fact over fiction I will post more.

I also understand they are busy working on a new manual for it, that is supposed to be a in a new, very detailed, yet user friendly format.

Nice review

Hi all it has been some time on this thread and just wanted to point out the great review this ship got in the new RCheli mag. Made the front cover as well.

I also want to thank Century and especially Phil (oldfart).
Century for making changes late in production and Phil for supporting the changes needed to make this a great heli ! There is a great deal that goes on from prototype to final version the end buyer does not see and I can tell you Century stepped up on this heli and implemented some changes late in the game and at cost to them that made this heli a winner.

Oh yea after doing the R&D on the swift 16 and then the carbon 550 way way back. I was sold on them. With the price of batts I dropped back into Nitro but I got 4 electrics this summer and I can not wait to tell you about my favorite !!

Century nx50

Man I know this is an old thread but I hope someone sees this. I bought on from a local rc show. Got a great deal I couldn't say no to. The guy said he flew it once from the looks of it it doesn't even look like he's flown it at all. Has ys 50 jr cyclics hr throttle align 620 tail spektrum receiver spektrum receiver pack.
The problem
I brought it home set it up rewired everything. Set it all up throttle hold throttle cut. Just like my other nitros. Well I go to start it I opened throttle spun starter for 10 sec to build up pressure. Lowered throttle added igniter and nothing just spun. I checked my check vaulve hose is 35 mm from engine to valve. Mark is toward engine blew in the valve seems to be working just fine. I've put a new glow plug os8. I don't know what else to do. This engine doesn't even look like it's ever been run. If anyone could please help I really wanna put this heli in the air

open the fuel inlet plate on the sife ot the carb. there is a check valve in there that clogs with dried fuel oil goo super easy. Mine is always clogged in the spring. blow a little fuel thru it with a fuel pump. put it back on and she should start like a champ
