I want to thank all of you who showed up at Smyrna this last weekend.I for one had a great time.

The camaraderie was great and the food was superb.

Thanks Dave Ellis for the "KILLER BBQ" and homemade sauce.

We will do this again when the weather starts to get cold later this year.

Sorry it took so long but here are some pics of the Smyrna BBQ.

We had another great evening flying tonight!
just 4 or 5 pilots out there, some friends who stopped by, we made a pizza run, and all was well till the night flying started

The stryker made its maiden nightfly voyage all was well for a few laps till I was bringing it around to land and caught a wing tip. very little damage just took off the nose cone. It needs more lights though, the top looks good but the bottom would disappear.

Then Jason tried to out do me by putting the trex500 in the dirt inverted....Amazing as it was, very, very little damage also...

Oh the carnage! It sounded terrible, then the lights went out. Walked out to get it, amazingly couldn't really see much wrong with it. Here is a pic.

I had a blast though. How about Dad? He built his first Nitro plane, maidened it himself, and had two good flights.

I guess you've got to start somewhere.
What's with all this plank talk?
Dad's starting out with planks, I bought him his foamy last father's day, now he has 5! He's talking about a 600 now though.

The blades still light up! Only problem is one of the pins are stuck, once I get it out they will be good to go.
