Looks like Nick Maxwell on top, followed by Jaime Robertson, followed by Szabo.

There are some names I expected to see on these lists, but am not seeing them. Is that a complete list?

Several competitors won't begin til tomorrow (Thursday), but since the low days' scores drop off at completion it won't much matter to some of them.

Per Rockie R, tomorrow's competition starts at 9a and goes on 'til whenever, and Friday's finals should go from 9a 'til around noon, when the competition officially ends and the Fun Fly officially begins and runs through Sunday.
Hopefully I can make it out tomorrow . . . awesome flying weather.
I got there late today, just after competition for the day ended. Yup -- flippin' great weather, no dowdy bowdit.

Benny and Justin and Mrs Chi were hangin' out after Justin's top marks in Advanced Class. No surprise there. That child is growing faster than summer asparagus, for cryin' out loud. Nice job, Justin.

Bert K, Mike F, Wayne J, Ray N, Daniel J and quite a few others were still slicing up the nearly calm air til near sundown.

Tom, Bob and Rick will be burning burgers and dogs all weekend, and MR is there shooting HD and stills as usual.

Long Live RC!!

Nick,

I wasn't sure you knew how to fly with a canopy (joke), not to mention in conditions below the Texas 20-30+ MPH gusts in March, but you never fail to amp-it-up and impress! Amazing as usual..

Keep bringing it!

Just a guess but probably because he needed something to fly since leaving MA to go work for CY and the 700 was the cheapest solution available.

When you fly for CY, you can fly anything you want as long as Curtis sells it in his store...Power Helis.

Dream sponsorship if you ask me.

For what it is worth my take would be that when you work/fly for CY (powerheli) and CY is paying your wage, that rather than flying whatever you want in the store you will fly what CY wants you to fly, i.e. whatever product cuts him the biggest margin, which I would say 100% is Align.....but just my take.

Nick is a superb flyer and a top guy....good to see this result for him, just a shame it isn't still with an MA machine
