Thanks to all that came and had a great time with us.

I hope the ones that could not make it this year can come next year.

Sounds like it was a great event.

How many flight stations were there?

With so many pro pilots there did the average guys get to fly much?

There were 5 flight stations. You could pretty much fly as much as you wanted, but you may wait in line for a bit, not bad though. There was almost a rotation going on @ the station in front of my pits. About 4 or 5 pilots flying over and over with the occasional guy getting in a couple of flights, then gone. I thought it was good!

The fun-fly portion of the event was great, there was 5 flight stations with 3 stations that were used in heavy rotation. The 2 staions at either end were generally open and didn't have more than 2-3 pilots or so at any given time.

There was always helis in the air, all you had to do is wait your turn which was typically 2-3 flights ahead.

Vegas has been the same since it started, it's a smaller venue but that just how it is. Love it or hate it, Vegas is a great time and it brings some of the best pilots from around the world.

Thanks again to Rocky and the rest of the LVRC gang.

Have Rotors, Will Fly!

AMEN, Mike!

It was a great event. I never understand the guys that complain about not being able to burn a couple gallons of fuel at a fun fly. They miss the point! The point is cameraderie, and making new friends. Sure, get some flying in, but hang out with the gang and share stories and have fun! IT's VEGAS!!!! If all you want to do is burn fuel, just stay home! I had a great time and I didn't fly!

Hey man, why does my lipo get bigger every time I charge it?

For the record...

I had a great time and am planning on attending next year. Hopefully I will have a few more helis to fly!

BTW, nice flyin' Mike!! I enjoyed it!

dont get me wrong..i loved the flying and seeing the friends again..that was awesome as usual. but ignorant, selfish, competent people completely ruin the event. ill just keep it to myself, but lvrc
....please know, you have some work to do.

Can you give details of what work needs to be done.?

LVRC is lessening and we do change things. But when pilots are so vague it makes it hard to know what problems someone had.

We do not know what to fix or make better with your quote.

So please give us insight on your knowledge.

You can even help if you want too.

In the future when you go back to a fun fly and there is a problem please asks one of the volunteers for help. They will try to help you if they can and if they can’t they will get the person that can.

Have fun fly we do.

Lost Starter

Did anyone find a starter (black with a Thunder Power 4 cell Lipo, Home made aluminum bracket to secure the battery, and a purple start wand with a hole drilled thru the shaft and a cotter key installed. A pilot asked Alan is they could use it, but never saw of it again.

Thanks. Alan Sr.
