Is it an online video? Send me a link? if its just a video you have, then don't worry about it...

Just back from a quick night flight with the Super Cub... didn;t go too well, I put a new prop on it and didn't check it before hand It was vibrating so bad I couldn't even power up enough to fly. Oh well, maybe tomorrow night....

Glad to hear you got some flying in today... this sure beats a month or two ago when it was about 30 degrees colder!

Its a Ray Hostetler video. I got his book a while back. Lots of info.
A buddy of mine lives in an apartment and behind his place is a empty office building with a huge parking lot. Its at the end of a road so no one goes back there. Its perfect for us to fly in, except breezy. Nothing to block the wind.
Sorry to hear about your plane tonight.
My 600n has a hatori pipe on it and it uses two O rings to keep it sealed. Well one of them is tore and the other, not so sure about. The guy i got it from says he has some, so i will go there this weekend and fly with him, and get the o rings and measure them, then I'll order a bunch of them. So right now, exhaust gets by the O rings, so the engine probably doesn't run so hot. It was sure rich today, you could see oil on the parking lot under where it was flying. I really like the idea that I don't have to mess with batteries with it. I did a little trimming and it flew better today. I am learning! No crashes for a while now. Thank God!
But we sure get beat after a flight! The nerves!!

I know, I find flying the Raptor to almost be a workout after I'm done... It usually takes me a tank or two just to loosen up and get to relaxing and having fun....

sorry to confuse you sonny what i meant is if you took the radix blades off the 600 and put wood blades on it will definatly affect blade tracking. and the weight of the blade will affect the feel of the heli in a hover

Hey Cobra,

Yeah, I put fiber glass blades on it, but the ones I took of it were Curtis blades, much better blades! So i made a couple of adjustments and it seems ok now. But it blew the orings at the pipe. So its probably not running like it should. I will get some this weekend I hope, then i will have some on hand in case it happens again. But I am liking the idea of not having to charge batteries to fly!!!Love this nitro stuff!!!

I flew for a little bit today, I flew the 450 and had a gust of wind so i turned the nose into the wind, putting me at a right side hover, well, I suck at that right now, down she went!
Do you clean out your motor after each run? The guy i bought it from said he never did if he knew he would be flying in the next couple days.
Others have said, you have to!

Hey MMike,
Does that complete the T rex line up or do you still need the 700?
I have enough trouble trying to keep track of the 450 as i crashed one today trying to do a right side in hover! I turned to face the wind and that was about all she wrote! I did fly the 600 nitro with no mishaps though, several flights on it now, almost burned up a gallon of nitro.
I ordered a case from Bob and a couple of cases from wild cat to pick up in Toledo!

Any damage on your crash?

No 700 for me at this time. The 600 scares me. I see it flying and all I see is $$$$$$$$

I need to get better / more confident.

Anyway, the 250 is cheap to repair. Bob stocks spares FOR me.

I have an S185 JR that works well on an EP100.

hay sonny well so far you need to run the fuel out of the motor this will help stop corosion in the motor due to residual fuel left in if you use the throtle to kill the machine and will also stop it from hydrolicing. motor will not turn over due to fuel in the combustion chamber after being run and can damage the engine unless you remove the glow plug and spin it over a fue times to get the fuel out. other than that i clean my helis after a day of flying but dint take the motor out and do any thing special to it. there is no need for that.

hay mike i know what ya mean about the 600 scaring ya but you will get over that quickly. the size of it and the sheer speed the rotor blades turn at is quite impressive to say the least. i have been flying mine for a gallon of fuel now and can hover it 3 feet in front of me now. havent crashed it yet but everybody tells me once the first crash is dont the money wont matter lol. but ya 1500.00 hanging in the air seems like a a lot of money to be throwing around

ya if you have a fuel cutoff clip on your fuel line just close the clip and let it run out of fuel and you should be fine
