Anyone know if I can buy them local like at a radio shack?

I just installed a multigov pro and not sure if I screwed up the magnet orientation in the clutch bell or if the sensor is bad. I need another magnet to test the sensor. I Ca'ed the magnets in so if I screwed it up I probably need to drill 2 more pockets and put 2 more magnets in.

Anyone think I can get 1 magnet out if indeed I screwed it up?

Thanks

Thanks...I'll try that if the sensor is good. I guess I can use any magnet to test the sensor.

If you haven't bent the sensor yet, then just bend it the other way to match the polarity of the magnet.

Otherwise, remove the magnet and flip it the other way.

At last resort, if you need a new magnet right away, you can go to radio shack and buy the "rare earth magnets" that are disc shaped. That should also work.

Thanks, I already have the sensor bent and installed plus if I could have bent it the other way, I would have to still remove 1 magnet as I have both magnets in. Will check it out tonight after work and let you know what I found.

Thanks again

you can also just drill a 1/16 hole in fan under the magnet and push it back out.

So it turns out I screwed up and both magnets are in the wrong direction so going to grab my daughters nail polish remover and see if I can get 1 out and flip it. If I cant then I'll drill a hole under both magnets to keep the balnace the same and try to push 1 out while working on it with the polish remover.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The Multigov Pro is so easy to setup.

WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS TO GET A MAGNET OUT!!!!

Pull the motor and clutch bell. It does not want to come out. Looks like I need to buy some new drill bits and try drilling from the back. What a stupid mistake!!!
