I recently acquired an all metal head for the Raven
when I go full negative the pitch link binds against the inner flybar seesaw.

Has anyone had this issue?

it only binds at full negative, my pitch is 12/12.

.

When using extreme collective and/or cyclic settings (more then +/-10 collective and +/-6 cyclic), I dremel out a bit of the top and bottom of that seesaw plate to clear the rod if I use a long link at the top.

If you use a shorter link at the top, instead of a long one you will be able to clear it.

Here are some better pics to show what I mean

When I flip the link it binds against the outer flybar cage

In its normal position it will bind against the inner flybar cage

They are short ball links
It is set at -12/+12* pitch and cyclic is at 7 1/2* even with a 10/10 pitch it still binds.

I would prefer not to grind anything ,shouldn't have to
but there is something definately not right.

Thanks to those who have replied
I have decided to throw the aluminum head into the parts bin for the following reasons.

Binding is the main reason but the following are very real and valid.
Most of the screws were easily stripped.
The screws that bolt the blade grips together were of differrent lengths 3 of which were too long and locked on the spindle.

I have never in my life seen such poor quality of alloy the aluminum is very soft the screw heads are to shallow to allow a proper grip.

If this what Century is producing now they can keep it!!!
