hey guys
I just finished building my vibe 50. I started the build Friday around 5:00 finished it about 6:00 this evening, what a nice kit to build everything- fit like a glove, so I just got done putting the fifth flight on it- man it does fly awesome. snappy like my 600n and feels like I am flying a 90.
I am running 8717,611,fromeco reg and battery CSM RL 10
+-13 9deg cyclic
All I can say is WOW!!
everyone should have one of these.

Yeah, I love mine too.

It is testing my patience though. I've had more crashes this year than in all my previous years together. Always mechanical failure but always a NON-JR part I made or installed from another manufacturer. Its like saying to me: I only want to fly with my stock parts lol.

I managed to throw a tail grip and blade today (AGAIN!!!) during one of my flights.... curiously it was an align hub that exploded... lol I really shouldn't put align stuff on my vibe

I feel your pain. I went 18 months not one crash, nothing. I've had over five crashes in the last six months, if it has been six months. And I've been flying less. It's starting to get me down. They have all been due to mechanical failures or unexplainable events.
It's to the point where I'm starting to get paranoid. Last time I flew, I was waiting for the battery to crap out. I test it before every flight, but... it just didn't seem maintain the voltage as before? I kept telling myself the battery is OK, but....
I went to fly my 450 and I was waiting for the ESC to catch fire? This has got to stop. Where are the evil spirits coming from? Does anyone know where I can get a VooDoo doll? (lol)

same problem here

Yesterday I was having a superb flight. I was really enjoying the whole thing when at around 6 minutes in the flight I remembered all the crashes I had recently so I though I'll bring it back into a hover and relax a little so I don't start making mistakes... seems like a inner voice was telling me to return back to hover if you know what I mean.

Anyway, as soon as the bird was stable 6 feet over the ground and I was slowly rotating the machine to really appreciate the beauty, I heared a loud crack and the bird reveresed its piro direction and entered into a wild nose left piro. Since ALL of my recent crashes were due to tail failure, this time I was prepared though. Hit TH and started to slightly correct the piro until the bird landed safe and sound.

Seems that I sheared a 3mm bolt in one of my tail grips and half of the tail rotor was ejected (I found the missing grip and blade 100 feet away from the landing site). Pathetic thing is that I was testing different tail rotors at the time and the bolt that failed was mounted in a align hub...

DUH

Tony, listen to your vibe. It's saying "NO MORE ALIGN PARTS!" I think I'm about over my short period of "burn out" after my bad Vibe crash. I'm going to start the rebuild this weekend. It is natural to be a little scared after a string of bad luck. All you can do is forget about it, push it and have fun. Crashes will happen.

Yeah, With a little research I found the quickUk hub (with included T-spacers) is a perfect fit and won't cause stresses on the bolt due to its design. I guess next weekend is testing time again
