I'm looking for some feedback from the good folks of RR.

What are some good options for high performance E-Helis throwing 425's. I have a Trex 500 and I'm not real excited about it. The Protos has a questionable survivability rating. The Logo 400 isn't out yet but, I've herd some less than flattering things about it.

Anyone have one they're in love with? Why?

Why don't you like your T-Rex 500?

I dont have one and it uses blades longer than 425's but the LaHeli Sniper is a similar sized heli.

I got a fever! The only prescription is MORE 6HV

The sniper got kind of a crappy review in RC Heli magazine. It really didn't perform well and the canopy looks absolute rubbish. This is one that I think is pretty cool: the SJM430-C PRO. Very unique looks and performance seems pretty bad arse from vids I've seen. Then there's the whole thing about not having the same thing as everyone else. I was seriously considering one before I got a good deal on a logo10. Here's a link http://www.rc-tek.com/us_store/sjm4...-class-c43.html

What is bad about the logo 400? Sounds like nothing will satisfy you

I reckon my Leptons a pretty good heli. I can't see why anyone would not want a Logo 400, and if you can't have fun with a Trex500 or be excited about it maybe there's something wrong or your just not into heli's.

Other than the Lepton you shot down the the top three most popular heli's. I suggest you contact Centuryman about your 500. If his ideas cant trip your trigger, nothing will.

Hey guys, thanks for all your input.

I picked up a Protos today. The Trex is a bit heavy and the Logo 400 tail is too similar to the Logo 10 for my liking. Both are fantastic helis! (I own two Logo 600 3d's - uh MAZING helis!!!) Truth be known, I think I just really wanted something new. Now I'll get a chance to see for myself what the hype around the Protos is all about. There is a possibility that I may regret it. But, what's a guy to do?

I think I did pretty well. I took my Trexxy 5, along with a bag of assorted goodies, into RC Hobby Sports in Seattle, and worked out a swap with Dale the owner. I still had to shell out a few bucks but I am happy with the arrangement.

Dale is a stand-up guy. I know I've spent well in excess of $10k at his store and he has backed me up, all the way. If you're in the neighborhood, check them out, or go online to rchobbysports.com.

Thanks again for your time and attention.
