Well unlike the nitro guys, we don't consume our batteries as we use them and constantly need to but more. I am sure our current LiPos will last us through the summer.

Geeez, I hope this thread doesn't start a panic buying spree. Got to buy some lipo futures in the stock market .

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Think I'm set...

Currently sitting on 9 packs of 2200/2170's, 2 packs of 1500, and 2 1250's. The crappiest ones I have are of the TP variety (I will never buy those again). The best that I have are FP, Outrage, Kong. .

I used to be normal, but then I started flying heli's....

I could care less if you guys hate TP batteries.

Just for discussion sake, I will say I have 4 of them and like them fine.

I'm curious, What's the problem with them?

the discharge curve tapers very quickly, the cells come out of the heli unbalanced, they like to puff, you are lucky if you get 150 cycles out of them, and they cost 80 bucks a piece

please note these are my own personal findings, from my own research.I have not bought any TP batteries BECAUSE of these issues.I have done extensive research on batteries and find the level of customer satisfaction of TP to be very low.Sure EVERY company will have a lemon here and there, but the list of problems with TP is too long and way to frequent to justify the price tag.Especially when the FMA batteries I am currently using have been flawless in everyway and cost almost half with 2-3 times the cycle life

Fender

I don't doubt your word.

You've answered my question in your usual well documented style.

I feel better knowing I have a 3 year warranty and my LHS already replaced one for a charge lead that came loose.

Hey, while we're on batteries, my 800mah 2S E-SKY greeny is 1 and 1/2 year old, been abused, and performing better than my Common Sense RC batteries!

What do you think of that?

I have 2 1500mah 3S Esky lipos that have gone through all kinds of abuse and have both seen a few crashes but are still running strong I don't keep track of how many flights these batts have been through but I do know it's more than 100 each, not bad for some cheaper batts

Depleting the world of parts, one crash at a time!!

I flew the EP100 inside today as it was way windy today.

I could use about 3 more if anyone would like to but them for me.

Mike,

All I can say is "ditto" to Fender's comments on the TP. Compared to my others, the TP is just "not up to par". For the money, I just don't get it. Maybe I got a lemmon, but with 80 bucks a pop, not many "lemons" are allowed in my hanger.

What do you think of that?
I think how can an e-sky battery last like that and an 80 dollar TP not???
Do you have a link?
go to the main page very bottom right for the link, the sale is over so the 25C11.1 2200mah batts are 49.95 now but I believe another sale is around the corner

my thoughts exactly, thats why I'm not even taking the chance.especially with the new stuff comming out(or already out)Kong Power,AirThunder,Performance,Outrage,FMA
