I was just wondering is it possible to use the JR8900g with the futaba 611. I have a brand new 9256 but if at all possible i would like to try and use the 8900g. I have heard there is a way to change the pulse width or something like that on the 611 or are they totally not usable together?

Thanks for your help in advance.

They are not compatible. No way to change the pulse rate that I know of.

I have read that you can change the pulse width on the 611, if that is the case would it be possible to use the two together? If not no big deal i will just swap out servos.

1. connect the 611 to your heli "without the 9254 Servo!!!" keep
it unplug!!

2. turn on your TX and then turn on your heli system when pressing
both FUNC +- on your Gyro.. (to get into the Hidden menu)

3. Then on the hidden menu you should make RESET!
use the (+) button two times to confirm the RESET (you will see that)

4. Then turn off and on the Heli system again with both FUNC +- on
your Gyro press down! (to get again into the Hidden menu)

5. now on the hidden menu change the value of "PlsW" (Pulse Width)
and change it from "Nar"=9521 to "Wid"=9253,9254,9257

6. only now it's safe to connect the servo 9253,9254,9257

I found this. It doesn't show the servo you want to use, but maybe
just changeing the pulse width will work. I don't know I never did
it. Just trying to help.

Well it works well on the bench. Cycled the servo a ton and it did not do anything strange or get hot. Will try it tomorrow

It'll be fine now that you've changed the pulse width. 8900G runs the same as the 9254/57.

Had a chance to put 5 flights on it and worked great. Actually it is a little faster with the 8900g servo.

after you get bad op push at the same time the set of buttons on the right. After that you should be able to use the + and - buttons on the left to go through the factory settings. When you get to plsw go back to the buttons on the right pushing only one you should be able to toggle from nar and wid.
