Is anyone else getting these on a regular basis? I'm getting about 4 a day. This is almost irritating enough to make me want to close everything up with Pay Pal...

Never click on a link in an email and paypal always uses your name as you have it on your paypal account.

I knew it was a scam, that goes to an email account I used with PayPal years ago. I didn't have to click the link, when you hover over it it gives you the address - http://wvw.daad.ru/blah,blah,blah. I started getting them about two weeks ago. Now I get 4 a day in my junk folder. I'm hoping they taper off...

Once we have properly investigated the suspicious activity, we will remove the limitations on your Paypal account. Just fill out the form, and you won't receive any further requests from us. I promise!

I used to get those, and I always filled it out with junk info and very long complex passwords with lots of zeros mixed with the letter o. I don't get them anymore ?????? Well, I don't suggest doing this unless you like to have fun and are careful about getting a keylogger covertly installed.
My PayPal now uses the 6 digit random number generator in addition to my password. So even if my password somehow was cracked, it won't do any good without the little number generator. It cost $5.00 from PayPal and is a very secure method.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

By the way, the same device is used for your Ebay account, so stolen PW won't do any good. Below is a pic of mine and the number displayed was only good for about 15 secs.

I strongly recommend this device for anyone who uses PayPal.

Yeah, I get them too. You can also look at the email headers and see where it's coming from. Usually eastern block countries.

I,m not sure but I have had mine about a year I think. It is a little hard to find on the paypal site, seems they would be pushing it.

In paypal, go to security center, then security tools and it's listed on that page.

I got three the other day that told me my draw from my account was denied! That was in the title and I almost opened it. Glad I realized I had not bought anything in the last few weeks and it could not be true. I went to Paypal and sure enough, nothing there at all! There guys will try anything to get your dough. Be careful and ALWAYS check the Paypal site when you get strange emails.....Ron

golden rule to phishing..
if u receive a wierd email from a site like that just skimp the links in the email and directly type "http://www.paypal.com"; in the address bar on explorer. at least this was the easiest way to explain it to my wife. if you wanna have some fun with them send them some viruses. believe it or not a lot of phishers are actually in america and they use websites tied to other countries to avoid being caught. do you really think anyone in nigeria is smart enough to know their ends and outs of computers that well? or even have the funds to start such an expensive computer con? do they even have the internet in nigeria? what do they have there anyways? other than a lot of

I log in all the time to the 'phishing' sites, with some username/password combo that would get me banned if I repeated it here :0

magically it always works and gets me to the next page where they ask for the rest of my bank information. I can't belive people use such vulgar user/pass combos that I guess right every time! lol

I like to replay to their email with a bunch of derogatory words usually reserved for a heli crash or stubbing my toe on the dresser! I normally point out their typos and the fact that they always have an outdated copyright date. After a few of my bash e-mails they stop for a while. Its fun to let out the frustrations of the day on some jerk off trying to scam.

Who raised the ground since I took off?
