You're thinking of Alan's 500. Kick ass paint job on that thing.

He sold it a while ago. Not sure who has it now. Send him a PM.

Alan, you heard right. Only took around three years to get it in the air. The wind gusts were a little strong and the flights were a little rough but I can feel the potential!

Some video here:

Alan were you still able to fly big banked turns with the 5 bladed head??

Nick congrats on the first flight it looks good, I like how you were relaxed at the end. It looks like that pipe works well.

It took me a while to find it on the net as i do not know where the origional video is. as you can see the heli is very manuverable with the 5 blade head. i was not using any gyro for the head.

Radek, the machine is extremely stable and yet extremely agile with the five blade head. Banked turns are truly awesome and the whole thing is a sight to behold.

Flight Video

The pipe I came up with cures the exhaust issue on the turbine 500 once and for all. The only downside is cooking what is under the heli.

Nick cooked grass was a daily issue when i was flying my H500 and BVM Bobcat. the flying field became a big connect the dots game board

"connect the dots" ...

I created the pipe mockup from cardboard tube and then sent it to Tam for fabrication. He can make one up for you. Awesome craftsmanship, of course.

That head on the 450 is from DeeTee hobbies: http://www.deeteeenterprises.com. They are a barrel of fun, Alan. Takes some work getting everything dialed in, but once you do, good times.
