I am having a hard time choosing sunglasses that help me with seeing the helicopters....which sunglasses do most of you guys wear.....I was wearing polarized glasses and was just curious if there was a better type.....Thanks....

I used Model Glasses ... not because I'm pretty, but because of the three interchangeable lenses that come with it and good case. $80 wasn't too bad either.

Oakleys. Non-polorized.

I tried Mandy's polorized sunglasses, and didn't like the fact that the sky would go dark to light as I followed the heli left to right and right to left. The polorized lens does that based on the angle to the sun/sunlight.

In addition to a bright canopy, me and he guys couldn't believe what a HUGE difference painting just the boom neon orange made for seeing the heli in the sky. Orientation was much much easier with a painted boom.

You should try obnoxiously bright canopies, like mine:

Also, I like using my Oakley polarized lenses. However, they can be a problem in overcast days.
