hitec metal arms

Alpine,
Be aware that the metal arms are available for the standard resin gear servos as well as the metal gear servos.
The two are not interchangable. When you purchase a "Hitec" digital metal gear servo a blue metal arm comes along with it as well and some resin arms. Hitec states that "their" metal arms will only fit the metal gears that have a " + " on the top where the servo screw goes. I'm not sure what "Servo City" has to offer but certainly tell the which servo you plan to use them on.
Regards

I've got the blue arms on HS6965 and HS 6975s and they fit perfect.

I have 6975 and 6965 hitec servos. I was told today by two experience hobby shop owners that I should not put metal arms on the carbonite hitec servos.
I still would like to replace the red arms with something else even if is not metal.
thanks,
Roberto.

Did you ask why? I would like to know.

Rafael, they said if you crash and put too much pressure on the arm you will be destroying the inners of the servo because of the carbonite strengh .
