I don't use them because they are yellow.

Yep, poor excuse I know but yellow blades just look damm ugly especially on a red vibe.

Tony's colorblind, they look awesome.

I'm putting a set of 600's on my second Vibe, I probably should have bought some 610's though.

If he was color blind then the color wouldn't matter

Tony, I agree.

Well that depends on taste I guess.

Lately I've seen some 600Ns with red booms, yellow landing gears, blue canopy and some purple fuel tubing... if you like something like that, I'm sure you're going to like the RT610s.

I for once don't like helis that look like a clown in the air.

Well I'm not going to invest 100 bucks in blades then.... maybe i will come across someone at the field with a set and try them out.

I use the 620mm 3D's. The smoke Radix IMHO, but that's probably just me.

Hi Spacey

Have you ever flown the RT's at sea level.....The reason i ask, is i loved the way my Freya flew with Radix 690's at sea level and in Joberg (5558' amsl) they made the heli feel 'heavy' and sluggish. I had SAB 710's on the heli when i lived in SA and i remember the heli feeling 'light' and powerful....

Regards
Paul

Haven't flown my Vibe at sea level no but I have had my Sylphide to Phalaborwa on a few occasions and flown my Venture up in Musina which are both around 300m above. Same results through the block, which we also used going to Poland for preparations. Heli has a little more drag in FF but everything else is better, blades grip better, cyclics are nearly double, punch is way up there and of course auto's...well it definitely autos better in all respects (Spoolup/hang etc).

The Radix are cool blades but they all have a sort of collective lag for me? The FAI's are seriously bad if you're not used to it but even the normal Radix Dawie had on his Airskipper had this going for them. Auto's didn't have much reserve on the bottom on either of them. On the other hand the Rotortech does everything better except it didn't have the overall punch perhaps compared to the Radix, but the collective had alot grunt and was very linear through with predictable response. Rotortech's spool up stupid easy in the autos and hang time's are great. Not to mention even the blistering cyclics.

Shall we hope RT pm's me with a deal after this one? Bwhahaha
No I really like the Rotortechs, but I suppose everyone needs to cater for their own style of flying.

I have the RT610s on my Vibe, they are Fugly but they seem smoother than the Radix 600 and auto better. I'm gonna switch between the two tomarrow for a better comparison.

Rototeck Blades

I run 610 on my Vibe 50 and wouldn't use anything else, not only do they look good but perform superbly and to more than my satisfaction. I can't recommend them enough and auto well they will auto better than any other blade that I have tried and just for the record that is just about all of them.

Hi Spacey

Just to confirm, you use RT 620's.....i thought 610 was the 'new' 3d blade?

I am on a trip to Australia tonight, will try find a set there. I couldn't find any in Hong Kong a few weeks ago.

Regards
Paul

PS: the more i fly my Vibe, the more i like it. The motor is fully run in now and with the Multigov pro it is making great power.

I was lying! (No really, I just got it all wrong, not intentionally..my bad). 610's this side. Just grabbed the package. Cat #H6166C-3D.

Sorry about the confusion.
