Are any of you guys using this filtered clunk in your gasser. I just finished putting a Predator Gasser together and was looking at using this clunk. Replies will be appreciated.

Thanks,

No not that one

I use this one:

Works really well -- has good non-blockable flow and can fit inside the small neck of a dubro tank.

S4154

Thanks rbort for the link and that looks good but I have some of the Robbe filters and just wanted to know if they could be used for the gasser application with out causing any problem of compatibility with the gas. I have used them with glow fuel with success but have not tried them in gas, wanted to see if anyone has with success.

Thanks,

I use the same one that rbort uses as well. The Robbe one looks like it would work fine as well too, but I haven't had any personal experience with them, or know anyone that is using one. So, this is a bump to get the thread up. Maybe some one will chime in and let you know.

Robbe Clunk

Well, I ordered them from Ricks South so I am pretty sure that they will work or I don't think he would sale them. Just trying to get some input from other users.

Hi cuckoospringer

I have and still use a filter just like yours,
only mod I did was, I put a shim all the way up
to the filter before putting the fuel tube on,
so that the filter can`t slide down towards and
ower the fuel tube.
It filters the fuel without any problem, and there
is no restriction in the fuel flow at all.

I have one filter/clunk from robbe runing in a gasser at about 6 months without any problems! Additionaly i have been running with these filters from robbe in glow helis at 10 years, without any problems! I think it is an excelent product as it will consume all the gas in the tank as it absorves all the gas, and it filters the fuel very well and you don´t need any line fuel in your heli!
