Alright, I am very confuse and frustrated. I already lost one JR 8301 servo yesterday during bench test no rotor spinning, just tilting the heli with Helicommand. swatch plate seem to work respond fine for about 10 minutes, the the elevator servo start moving slow and then die. Tried on other receiver, no luck. Then I replaced with a new servo and everything seem to work fine for a bout 10 minute of testing, then again my right swatch plate servo start to move slowly and lost holding strength. And yes it's damage and test on a different receiver, confirm it's gone also.

Can someone tell me what is going on??? I am having doubt on rather putting it on my heli. Do I have a bad unit?? Or can I be possibly doing something wrong??

I am testing it with the green light blinking, which according to the Manuel, it's in Position mode, not enough contrast, Hirzontal mode takes over. I am using Dx7 and couldn't figure out how to change it on Hirzontal mode yet.

That's very weird. What battery were you using to power the servos? Did you make sure it was charged?

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

I wish it was just the battery, I just plugged a newly charge 6 cell battery. The other two servo works fine, but the right servo was moving very slow, now it's close to complete stall. I think if I continue to test the helicommand without finding the cause, I will continue to burn a servo per every 10 minutes. I just lost about $140 worth of servos.

I might suggest not using nice servos. I do hope you're using some sort of regulator, which should be tested. Is this a new HC unit?

The testing was done one a 11.1v battery with Hercules High Current 5v bec, that I have flying for more than half a year. Then I just plug a 22v 6cell to test, it will fry all electronics at that voltage if the BEC is not working, right??

I guess. Do you have a voltmeter? Check the output of the bec. If correct, check voltage the the hc's pins.

Just checked the voltage on the HC RC-module pins. The reading is 5.09v, which means the voltage are regulated properly. BEC-is 5.10v, Which makes it even more odd for the servos to burn out. Could it be the helicommand sending different pulse than what JR servos run on??

What HC unit is this? Profi, or 3a/3d/rigid? I've got no ideas, I'm just trying to get all the details. Are the servos new, or old? The HC puts out the standard pulse that is used for all servos, except for those few narrow band tail servos from futaba.

What Tx. are you using? Is it 2.4. Don't know if it makes any difference but BEC. will only work with 2.4.
