I was flying my Xtreme 50 sunday all day with no problems when on the last flight I put a fresh battery in my heli.I proceeded to take her up and did a few moves and then all of a sudden my radio started beeping as if I had just turned it on and it was in stunt mode or throttle hold after that I lost all control. I thought to myself I know I didn't set any timer end result was a crash and I can't figure it out. On the way home I powerd on my transmitter for a while and moved the sticks for a while to see if it would do it again and it never did oh and the battery in the tranmitter was reading 10.3 volts hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I had this happen to me durning a flight and it I lost control and crashed....turns out it was low battery warning just before it quits working.....maybe the fresh battery lost power from a loose connection? Maybe the new battery wasnt charged fully ?

Before I went up the transmitter read 10.3 volts and I also put a fresh battery in my heli that I tested befor flight with my 8 ball and it had 8.3 volts under a 1 amp load.

radio beeping

i had this happen also. it means the radio tx went off and back on for some reason and so beeps because it has come back on in throttle hold and/or idle up off. to have any chance of recovery requires switching the idle up and throttle hold switches on and back off, and hope the reciever re initialises but its unlikely to work unless chopper is high up. in my case it was a faulty radio tx battery which caused radio to go off and back on and the chopper went straight into the ground

How did you work out it was a faulty TX battery. Didthe battery just go dead and stay dead.

tx battery

what happened was i was using a lipo for months, but i left radio on by accident, and even though radio went off itself, battery was still drained and so was ruined. So i got an old nicd battery and put it in, and noticed the voltage reading fluctuating on the dx7 screen. I was about to fly t rex 600 and when i noticed the varying voltage i decided on the t rex 450 instead, as i was slightly suspicious of battery since it was a few years old, and the 450 would`t be as bad as 600 if went wrong. 5 minutes into flight the radio started beeping and down went the 450, and flight mode warnings flashing on screen, so the tx obviously went off and back on because battery faulty.
Got new lipo for it and no problem since, or before that old battery. Never a single glitch or anything.
