I have a Quick 30 Pro and the seesaw unit has some play in it. the screws are tight holding it to the head . Will this play cause vibration? The flybar is tight, No play there.
The heli has never been crashed. The head came assembled from the factory. How do I fix this?

Is the play in the seesaw, or in the bearings that hold it? Usually what happens is that the threads in the seesaw will get stripped and then the screws will not tighten. Since that is not the case with yours, all I can think of is the bearings might have some play. How much movement does it have....a guestimate?

The play is in the bearings. When i move the flybar left or right i can see the screw that holds the seesaw unit to the head move. 1/4" movement . The screw is tight. Thanks jaime

Wow that's a lot of movement. Seems like the bearings may have developed some play in them. The only thing I can think of would be to replace the bearings in the head that the screws go through to hold the seesaw. How much flying time do you have on it?

What you need to figure out is exactly what part is loose. Take out one of the seesaw collars to see if the bearing is loose in the hub, the steel seesaw collar is loose in the bearing, or if it is the bearing itself. Also, if there is play side to side? I mean that the collars can slide in and out a bit between the flanges on the seesaw collars. If this is the case all you will need is a shim or two on either side.

Thanks Jon on that. I couldn't remember if that unit had the collars on the bolts or not. I thought they did, but could not remember.
