Does anybody use Arctic Silver Alumina Thermal Adhesive to mount temp sen on engine head?

If Temp sensor goes bad, is it easy to remove it?
Thanks

Thats what I use and fortunatly I haven't had one go bad. But it is fairly easy to remove. if the sensor stops working, rip it out and carefully go at the epoxy with an exacto or dremel

I also use it. Same experience. 200+ flights on the sensor with no problems.

IT's what I do.

Map out where you are going to install it before ever putting it on. Make sure you have adequate clearence for the wire. You only get one shot at it, the more you handle it the better your chances are of damaging it. I am guessing your running a hyper so install is easy. Coat the sensor really well with the epoxy and stick in in gently. Make sure it seats all the way against the head. After it sets up a little gently wipe the excess epoxt off with some rubbing alcohol and let it sit over night.

Glad to hear she is running well for you..
