Not too many venture posts but maybe someone can remember way back when. I've had the head setup for -10/+10 collective (+13 @ throttle hold) and +7/-7 cyclic. However, the flybar cage will hit the bottom of the grips when applying full ail/ele cyclic together even when coll. is 0. It actually binds the servos when + collective is also applied. What is the normal approach to setup? Leave as is and learn proper coll/cyclic management or set cyclic to max. without binding (on the venture that would be 6 on ele. and 5 on ail). BTW, linkage lengths are set for 3d in order to obtain the 23deg. pitch range @ hold. I've been happy with the flip/roll rate for sport flying and use the light paddles. Just really concerned about the binding. I'm thinking of lowering the cyclic pitch so it does not bind and increasing the headspeed from 1800 to 1900 (OS37 with maveric blades) to get the same flip/roll rates. Yes, no?
