Ive been noticing something in this hobby. Not everywhere, but a lot. Time shifts.
It seems, wheneva you ask a newb how long they have been flying, they claim longer. Time streches
If you ask someone who has been flying for a year or so how long they have been flying, they usually say less. In some cases i have witnessed years pruned from a modeling career(eh phil
With suppliers,, how long will it take to get that part in? OH,, well a few weeks, when in reality i could be delivered in a week. Time stretches.
When it comes to getting a new kit onto market, its always a couple of months, or a few weeks, but in reality usually lots longer... you know what i mean. Time compresses.
At the field flying, the whole Sunday can slip past in what seems like a couple of hours. Time compresses.
At work during the week waiting for another day of beating on the choppers. Time stretches
When ya flying a chopper, have ya eva thought, "That cant be 5 mins already!"
Time expansion factor. Not just a cool feature of Reflex, but a very real phenomena, that should be factored into any heli conversation.
You guys got some more, lets here em....
Cheers guys, Chris.
