Hey gang, I don't have any tri flow on hand and would really like to lub my bearings, swash, tail slider etc. In my raptor 30.
Is 3 in 1 oil ok to use for these applications???
Thanks for your help.

i've used it to lube the shafts for a long time. I doubt it would last in the bearing for a long time however as it seems to "dry out" quite quickly

It will work, but there are much better lubes.

Triflow is good, and I am trying alube called Militech that is suppsoed to be suer slick.

Don't use thin oil on bearings. Bearing have to be greased. If you use oil you thin the grease already in the bearings. Then the grease leaks out and you have no lube.

You CAN oil bearings, but you have to oil them very often. The high speed throws the oil out.

Some guys run oil in there wheel bearings on race cars. Low drag, but you do replace bearings more often.

I use triflow because it has the right viscosity to seep through the seals and get to the balls in the bearings. You can also grab a bearing repacker that will assist in packing the sealed bearing with the thicker grease as it uses pressure to force the grease through the seals.

As has been pointed out, oiling geased bearings washes out the grease. And then you have oil OFTEN or the bearing will burn out.

If the bearing is greased, you should NOT oil them.

I use the red Union 76 grease for bearings.
