I just joined IRCHA june 27th. I plan on attending the Jamboree. I was a little surprised at the lack of information on there website and the inability to communicate with anyone that "works for" IRCHA. I do realize it is all volunteer but this is what I noticed as a interested heli pilot that has little idea what IRCHA is or does. I know they took my money, and I will get a number (I guess since I have seen them in signatures) and they have a jamboree and a class in the nationals.
What I don't know is what I get for my 25 bucks or whatever it was? I guess I am relying to much on there website which might not be the primary source for information. If it weren't for the web though I wouldn't even know about the organization. Anyway the suspense is killing me and I will have to wait for my membership packet to arrive to hopefully get more info. Then there is the Jamboree, I am sure I will learn something then as that is my main reason for going. I have no idea what the event schedule is or what will go on. Well I say no idea...I know there will be helis flyin!
I tried to e-mail a couple of board members and even volunteered to work Saturday and I haven't heard anything back.
Like I said the suspense is killing me!
If you see me at IRCHA say hi! My name is Daren.
