Hello, The bearings in the main blade grips have "play" in them, in the lateral direction, meaning the blades can move up and down. The blade grips can move up and down. This is after 60 flights at least and doing some poorly executed 3D maneuvers.

Szabo flies this heli and others, and after his intense flying my guess is that his blade grips begin to have the same issue. Do hard 3D pilots replace these bearings when they show this type of wear?

Would this cause a head vibration?

Does this movement not cause any significant issues?

Thank you for your thoughts.

i would highly suggest that you replace the bearings in the grips. have you inspected the thrust bearings also ? if those are worn i would replace them as well. you want no slop in the head at all. bad bearings can lead to a serious crash. blade tracking issues, etc. good luck

shut up and fly

Maybe I am thinking of different lateral play in the head but when I started experiencing this I swapped out the dampners and it went away. Is it possible your dampners are worn out ?

I bet it's just the dampers if there is no notchiness in the grip rotation. The stock dampers are crap. Get Infinavations or K&B Oranges and be done with it.
