Angelos, why not bring back the Vision Lock as it was? At least we'd have something to work with until the INS-1 is ready. I haven't owned one but they are said to be pretty good devices for what they were. I imagine the AP market is a lot smaller than the DS760 market, so what about a limited reproduction run of some sorts?

This argument is getting more circular by the minute. Irrespective of the past, Angelo has now let everyone here know that the INS-1 gyro and the inertial stabilizer won't be available for some time.

So I reckon this should put an end to the complaints....

If you were running a similar business and said something that you weren't able to live up to, would you just leave people in the dark?
that is not what was written.

oh my bad... what I actually wrote was this...
But if there are delays, they owe it to the customers to let them know what the delays are, and if possible, a rough estimate of how long the delay is.

and the whole rough estimate thing... there's a reason why I said "if possible"... because it isn't always possible. but simply ignoring what you initially said is poor judgment and business practice. and after 2 years of waiting, it becomes hard to earn back the customers you've lost.

the number of licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop is still not known.
Not entirely true:
Research with Human tongue (average) = 252 licks.
Licking machine (average) = 411 licks

Just get a Helicommand until Spartan get their act together.

How do you set up HeliCommand to do what INS-1 does?
Sorry, I was referring to inertial sensor for the AP2000I.

Once I can afford a helicommand, that's the direction I'm gonna go. And Captron seems to be progressing quite well. So they definitely show a lot of potential.

I picked up an HC last year. I am very happy with it. I'm still holding a couple of AP units though. I heard the company is coming out with some add-ons. Anyone else heard anything? (that's ill humor...I'm only kidding).

Add-ons regarding the HC PROFI version, yes. GPS position hold up to any altitude, combined with the already included altitude sensor (air pressure sensor) and the stabilisation of course, this will enable you to "park" your camship up wherever you like and take care about your shots (and the fuel ).
Cheers,
Joe

Does the HC Pro use gyro's or a true IMU? I know that the Carvec uses an IMU and pressure altitude coupled to a GPS for auto hovering and altitude hold. That's a reasonable mix of technology to get the job done. How does the HC Pro get it done?

Sorry, I was talking about add-ons for the AP 2000. Didn't mean to take the thread off topic.
