Ok guys Ive got a Raptor 50 v2 that Im setting idle ups for. There is somthing that Im not doing right. Heres what Im sure is wrong. If in idle up I have the pitch at -8/+8 than why when I go back to normal do I still have -8/+8? Is that right? Do I have to go back and reconfigure my normal pitch curves and leave my idle ups alone?

If you only have to bend over once to pick it up it's a good landing.

What radio? I assume it has seperate pages to program the normal and I/U curves, though it is possible it does not if it is an older, simpler radio.

From what I understood I thought that Idle up pitch curves should look somthing like this:

(example) 5)100
4)89
3)70
2)89
1)100

But instead mine looks like this

5)100
4)89
3)70
2)59
1)33

Thats not my acual curve but its the same format

If you only have to bend over once to pick it up it's a good landing.

RAPTOR 50 Not doing somthing right with idles ups

Raptorman,
Are you sure your not getting the throttle curve confused with the pitch curve?

Your pitch curve should look the same in all modes 0-25-50-75-100
Your throttle curve in each mode should be different

Norm 0-25-50-75-100
Idle 1 90-75-50-75-100
Idle 2 100-75-50-75-100

You should be hovering at about 3/4 stick and with all mode P-curves the same, your Heli will not jump when switching into or out of Idle 1 mode

As mentioned in one of the earlier posts, Raptor Techniques has a lot of good info on this.

Stayed inverted until I got bored
Now all you have to do to make it exciting again is piro the tail and punch out...that will take the boredom out of the old inverted doldrums....

The blue and red are the same as the greenies, just a different color. The white are lighter than the black but heavier than the other colors.
