I was just wondering how people are spacing out the bearings on the TT if a second one is added. I looked at the Vibe 90 manual and it shows the front in 260mm from the end and the rear 230mm in. Anybody know the over all length of the 90 TT? I put the front bearing at 240mm in and the rear at 210mm, leaving 300mm between them.

Tchavei is the 250,300,200mm going from front to back? Do you use anthing to lube the rubber o rings that go on the bearings when you slide them into the tube?

It does not matter from what side to what side it is spaced, they should not be spaced equaly becasue of resonance. I used some Dielectric grease that I put on the rubbergrommet to make it easier to slide into the boom.

Tail |<--250mm-->|B|<--300mm-->|B|<--200mm-->| Frames

or

Tail |<--300mm-->|B|<--250mm-->|B|<--200mm-->| Frames

It doesn't really matter as long as they aren't spaced equally. For balancing purposes I choose option B because it bring the bearings closer to the frames so it doesn't affect CG so much.

I use Silicon or Teflon spray to lube the inside of the boom and then slide the TT inside. I let the boom rest for a few hours so that everything evaporates and locks those grommets in place. Then I close everything up.
