Just to be clear, I've got no relationship to any of these stores, I'm a uci student, who has bought stuff from all of them.

Hobby People-Fountain Valley or Lake Forest
-they have some basic tools, but not a whole lot of heli stuff, nor any people worth speaking with

Ultimate Hobbies- Santa Ana
-Have a lot of stuff, but it takes a while to get service. People who help me don't seem to know heli parts, so I have to find it on the wall, and show them

Gyro Hobbies- Lake Forest
-heres the interesting bit: use to be average, overpriced, and filled with some odd people. I just went back, since there big change, and I was blown away. They have so much stuff! I was impressed. I saw an avro for the first time, some scale helis, a ton of spartan gyros ( which seem to be hard to get, but they had a lot+bluetooth links).

Any others I've missed?

Rhett..... I can't fly, but the Profi sure can.

Isn't MTA Hobbies in Torrance? They should have a good heli supply judging by their website.

I was really blown away by gyro. Too bad I don't have stuff to buy, cause they have everything. Guess I don't need to buy stuff online for now.

Assurance R/C is in Los Alamitos

Rob's R/C is in Garden Grove

There's R/C Depot, it's on Westminster, and talk has grown about it but I've never been there.

Also there's a hobby shop with the E-flite stuff that caters more to cars on Chapman in East Orange. I forget the name.

Nitro Hobbies is right next to the OFNA building, and carries some very basic trex and eflite stuff, it's in Lake Forest, I believe, as well. Lake Forest or Mission Viejo.

Mostly Align 450 and 500 and E-flight stuff.
